Hi Sandy,

Hope you are well.  Below are some pictures of Bella & Bruno.  He and she have become best friends.  It did take her a while to completely warm up to him because he is always biting her, wanting to play and his teeth are so sharp!  But now they play together, sleep together, eat together etc.

Overall he is doing amazingly well; he is totally housebroken, hasn't chewed anything he wasn't supposed to, and walks well on the leash.  I guess he has learned a lot from Bella.  He is around 60 lbs, but tall and skinny and very handsome (like his dad).

We will keep you posted as to his progress.  Thanks for the newest addition to our family.

Sandy,

Here is a picture of Bella & Bruno.  Bruno is adjusting to our home perfectly.  He is happy, playful and of course follows Bella all over.  He has been terrific so far and really getting the hang of his routine, the kennel, house training etc.  We totally love him already!!

Take care,
Hildy

Hi Sandy,

Greetings from Miami.  Just wanted to let you know that Bella is doing great, and I thought it was funny to send you this picture because she still goes into the bathroom with our boys and lays in front of the bathtub.  She has been joining them for nightly baths since we brought her home at 8 weeks.

Anyhow, hope you and your family are well.  Thanks again for the best dog in the world.

Sandy,

Here are some new pics of Bella.  They were taken on an island off of Miami called Elliot Key.  (Yes, we can swim here year-round!!)

She loves the water as you can see, and goes boating with us almost every weekend.  She is doing great, and is sweeter everyday.

Hope you and your family are well.

Take care.

Sandy,

Here are a few very overdue pictures of Bella and our family.  She is doing great and loves to lay in our bed with her brothers!  The boys and her are still pretty much attached at the hip.  Our sons are either laying on her or playing with her.  It is amazing that she is so gentle with them.  If anything we have to constantly correct our sons, and tell them to be more gentle with her.

She goes boating with us a couple of times a month and swims around the bay.  She really loves the water!  I need to send you some pics of her out on the water with us.

Anyhow, thanks again for the great dog.  She is truly a member of the family.

Take care.

Sandy,

Hope you and your family (and all of the dogs!) are doing well.  I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that Bella is doing really great.  As you can see from the attched pic, she and and our sons are still all over each other.  She is either sleeping or playing with the boys or following me around the house.  Even when she is resting she usually follows us from room to room and continues sleeping in the next room!  In all respects she is truly a great dog.  She is house broken, walks well on the leash (no more pulling!), and listens to us most of the time (pretty good for a 7 month old).  I don't think we could have found a sweeter, more gentle, and loving dog.

Thanks again,

Hildy

Hi Sandy,

Hope you and your family are well and had a happy new year.  As you can see from the new pictures Bella and our sons are inseparable.  The three of them are together nearly all the time.  The boys are constantly kissing and hugging her (in their own way!) and she follows them from room to room.  And as you can see, she even follows them to the bath every night!  Now, she actually goes into the tub with them and somehow seems to enjoy it!  Amazingly, we must have picked the right dog for Miami because she loves to go in the water and swim.  We live very close to the bay, and she walks right in and brings us floating coconuts and whatever else she can find!

She is really a remarkable dog.  The breed is just as you described.  She is very loving and wants to be with her family, but is not too hyper (even for a puppy).  It does seem that she really wants to please us, and especially for a pup really listens pretty well.  She is also trying very hard not to nip the boys when she is playing but this will get better with time and her new teeth!

I can't tell you how much we love her already.  Thanks again for the great pup.  She has been the perfect addition to our family.

Hi Sandy,

Hope you and your family are well.  Bella is doing great.  She is really good with the boys.  If she isn't sleeping, she follows them around the house.  She even follows them to the bathroom every night for their bath.  We actaully gave her a bath with our 2 year old because she looked so inteterested in being next to him even in the tub!  A couple of times when I was telling one of our sons "No" (in a stern voice) as they were pulling ornaments off our Christmas tree, she ran over, put herself between me and our sons, and started barking at me!!  She seems already somewhat protective of them!  When we go for a walk, she will not walk in front of them and will wait for them to catch up, and then she walks right behind them!!  I guess she wants to make sure they don't get left behind.  Anyhow, the house breaking is going so-so.  Since either we or our nanny is home, she has run of the house most of the day, and is making a number of mistakes.  Even if she has just been in the yard, she might go in the house 20 minutes later.  Hopefully we will start to see improvement soon!  But most importantly she is lovable and adorable, and really sweet.  I will send more pics after the weekend of Bella with her new little brothers!

Thanks again for the great dog.  Have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.
