Hi Sandy!

I wanted to let you know that we are now living in Selinsgrove, PA.  We absolutely love it here and so do the dogs.  We have 1.7 acres for them to run around.  The one thing we really miss is having a fence.  We have been searching for fencing in the area but have not had any luck finding the 3 rail, split-rail.

We have found a vet in the area that is really nice and really takes time with the dogs.  I took Lilly in to get weighed in early July and she was 145 lbs.  Of course, everyone absolutely loved her and commented on her beautiful coloring.  She now stands taller than Sherwood and is just as sweet as the day we picked her out!  One of her favorite things to do is to chase the butterflies around the yard!  It is hysterical to watch this big puppy chasing and jumping at a little butterfly!!  I have attached pictures of her on her first birthday!

Hope all is well with you, Jim and the family.

Enjoy the pictures!

Hi Sandy!

Happy Spring!

I am feeling a little (a lot) guilty for not sending you any updates on Lilly!  She is doing great!  Sound asleep and snoring at the moment!  We had her spayed in January and everything wet well.  She did not skip a beat after surgery.  We kept her quiet (we tried) but she acted as though nothing ever happened.  We had a Home Again chip place in her while she was there.

She and Sherwood are just like children.  I get on the phone and they start to wrestle and make all kinds of noise!!  Another funny thing she does is when she needs to go out she comes and looks at me makes a little grunting/crying sound.  She is a sweetie!  She does love the snow!  She was dragging me around by her leash this past storm!

Hope all is well with you.  I still love looking at your website and all the puppies!  Can't wait to see the next litters!  Bet you are busy with the horses!

Have a good day.

Hi Sandy and Jim,

Thought I would send along a few pics of Lilly.  She is so darn cute and she 'talks' up a storm.  Not barking but a mix of silly noises!  She is also very helpful when it comes to cleaning up the leaves and sticks in the yard!!  She barks 'orders' at the rake, tackles and retrieves any leaves that get out of line, and moves the sticks to their 'rightful' place!!  Who could ask for anything more???

She and Sherwood are great together, wish we had decided to get her sooner.  They are fun to watch and thank goodness we have the yard all fenced in so they can run around.  Of course, when they get too crazy I pull her in...I am afraid he will accidentally hurt her.

Enjoy!

Hi Sandy!

Thought I would send along an update and a couple of pictures from Lilly's first couple of days.  Don't think I told you that the vet said she looked great and she weighed 19.5.  I weighed her yesterday and she was at 27 lbs.  She and Sherwood have such different puppy personalities.  He was so laid back (not what I was used to with a puppy) and she is all puppy!  I will say that she is doing great in the crate at night... 10pm until 6am... no accidents, no whining, not a stir.  During the day she occasionally has an accident, the last 2 were my fault.  I thought I could finish up a quick task.  Oh well, that is what paper towels and Simple Solution are for.  Each day that goes by she gets better at not nipping/biting.  I think Sherwood has decided he likes having Lilly around... his tail (her tail too) gets going at whirlwind speed when they get up in the morning and I am getting her out of her crate.

Enjoy and thank you!!
