Hi Sandy!

As you can see, Tink is a real beauty at 3 years old.  It's hard to believe, but the gray around her chin is the reality check for me.  She is a sweet heart as well... not the biggest cuddler, but always likes to be close.  For example, if I'm on the couch, she will come up and sit close to me, and want to be touched in some fashion.  If I stop, the paw comes up... and the whining might start, as if to say... "c'mon, don't stop."  Otherwise, she has quite the spirit outdoors, and while I avoided tug with her when she was younger, it's most certainly one of her most favorite activities now (responsibly; she will drop / stop on command).

It's been a great 3 years; she is great, and I love her.

Thanks so much, and hope all is well with you.

Michael

Tink is really doing great, and she is a fantastic sweetheart.   While she still has lots of puppy in her, she is a good girl, and honestly, when we started working with the prong, what a difference.   I will never do the harness again.

Thanks so much!

Hi Sandy!

We have had a pretty mild winter until now, and last weekend was our first real snowfall to enjoy -- and boy did Tink enjoy!  This picture was taken at Jodi's Mom's house where Tink can really stretch her legs.  Wow, is she fast too, which she needs to play with the Boxer that lives out there.  The two of them have a wonderful time playing and chasing each other, and to watch Tink run is true entertainment.

Tink is otherwise starting to display some of the "watchdog" that's in her.  Her deep bark at something she isn't sure of, or an unfamiliar sound, is something to behold.  Obviously, we are sure to keep socializing her, but it's nice to see that she is keeping watch.   Beyond that, Jodi and I have moved from our condo to what will eventually be a single family in the city.  We are extremely excited as it is a home that will have a HUGE side yard for Tink.  No longer will we have to travel to the burbs for her to be able to run to her hearts content.  Also, Tink weighed in at a healthy 95 lbs. yesterday.

So, we hope things are good with you, and as always -- thanks for such a wonderful dog.

Sincerely,
Michael

Hi Sandy.

Tink has been doing really well, and continues to get better at being a good girl.  She is still quite the rambunctious one at times, but she is pretty good with Devynn now, and with supervision, she is ok to be around Simba (still, not trustworthy though).  She is fully vaccinated now, so she is getting full exposure to as much as we can.

Tink passed her puppy class final with flying colors, coming in 1st place among the 5 participating dogs!  Essentially, it was a competition of whose dogs could perform certain tasks for points.  In a tie breaker, Tink came when called (more like galloped), and then into a sit before the competition could.  We are so proud of our little girl (all 43.2 lbs. as of this morning).  We get lots of compliments, and more than a few..."she's going to be huge!"

Thanks a lot.
Michael
